We meet weekly for Beaver Run K9’s private puppy training to prepare your pup for life in the home. The program provides owners with the tools to establish positive, productive behavior and respond when negative behavior arises most effectively. This progression assists people with creating a solid training and behavioral foundation with their new family members. During each training session, we will practice 2-3 key behaviors, and address negative behaviors at the conclusion

Puppy Private Training

Program Focuses: Obedience
(Sit, down, stay, recall, heel (loose leash walking), place, polite greetings, “no”, drop, crate conditioning, and leave it)
Age: 6+ months
Advanced:
(Sit for duration, down for duration, stay out of sight, focus, public obedience, off leash heeling, obedience under distraction
In Beaver Run K9’s obedience private program, we will meet regularly. We have a basic obedience program (6 weeks) and an advanced obedience program (12 weeks). Each week, the trainer will conclude the sessions with homework. This homework is prescribed practice throughout the week to ensure that the dog is on pace to finish in time. During each training session, we will practice 2-3 key behaviors. Any questions regarding the dog’s specific behaviors will be addressed after each training session.

At Beaver Run K9, our Behavioral Private Training Program is designed to address and modify challenging behaviors in dogs that may be causing distress for both the pet and their owner. We work one-on-one with each dog and their owner to create a tailored and effective behavior modification plan. Each session is personalized to focus on the specific needs of the dog, providing individualized attention and support.
Throughout the training process, we educate the owner on understanding their dog's behavior, providing them with the tools and techniques necessary to reinforce the training at home.
